The Heat and Seal Lite 43x1.1 cm is a compact, efficient heat sealing tool ideal for securely sealing bags and pouches with a 43 cm sealing bar and 1.1 cm width.
Instructions:
Heat and seal lite is composed of a fine grid of glue with paper backing to provide a light but permanent bond to fuse two fabric layers together.
Tips:
- Pew-wash all materials without fabric softeners.
- Test on a small sample before use.
- If stitching is not applicable, use heat and seal ultra.
Step 1 - Heat
- Pre-heat dry iron to medium heat.
- Cut Heat and Seal to desired shape of material or motif.
- Lay Heat and Seal paper side up on the wrong side of material.
- Guide iron evenly across paper side of fabric for approx. 2-3 seconds.
- Leave to cool.
Step 2 - Seal
- Peel of paper backing.
- Place material adhesive side down in position on the main fabric.
- Guide iron evenly across for 10 seconds (medium Heat).
- Increase ironing time when fusing thicker or heavier materials.
- Lay fused parts flat and allow to cool for about 20 minutes.
- Machine sew or hand stitch along edges.
Washing warning
- Machine wash.
- Line dry.
- Do not dry clean.
- Warm iron - Low.
